SDS4655 Kitty Paws

In memory of my son's girlfriend (Sky) cat Rosemary who sadly passed away today from Kidney Failure, I decided to make this memory pillow for her, to comfort her during this sad time.  I just knew there might be others who want to make something similar, so I am adding the corner design to the website.  The Cat is not included as it was already released a few days ago.  Please refer to the "See what's included" so you can see what you will receive.

I stitched the cat on a large piece of fabric, I then measure out a standard pillow slip and cut my fabric 1 inch larger than the slip I had on hand.  I then measured where I wanted the corner and stitched that in place.  I then used my sewing machine to stitch the wonky lines (Border) and added the name to the right bottom.  After this was done, it looked as if needed something and a bit of quilting was just it. So I added a piece of thin batting behind the block, marked 1 inch lines where I wanted them and used my sewing machine to quilt through.  I then made the frill on my serger, with a rolled edge seam, and then assembled my pillow slip, I did add a zipper to the back.
