SDS4861 Blue Rapsody

Bring a touch of timeless elegance to your embroidery machine with Blue Rhapsody, a beautifully detailed in-the-hoop medallion quilt featuring delicate feather quilting, graceful hearts and elegant floral sprays in a classic blue-and-white palette.

The quilt centre is created from 28 individually quilted blocks — 16 small corner blocks stitched in a 4x4 hoop and 12 larger medallion blocks stitched in a 7x7 hoop. Each design is supplied already turned for its specific position, so there is no mirroring or rotating required when stitching.

Once stitched, the blocks are trimmed and joined with a ¼" seam allowance to create the striking central medallion, with the heart border surrounding the beautifully detailed feather centre. Add your own choice of borders and binding to complete the look.

And the fun doesn't stop with the quilt! The versatile blocks can be rearranged to create different quilt layouts, a table topper, table runner, cushions and even mug rugs/coasters. The instructions include several suggested variations to get your creativity going.
