Embark on a captivating journey with the Stitch Delight Quilt Along, drawing inspiration from the exquisite Talavera Ceramic tiles renowned in the town of Talavera de la Reina.
This quilt, the second installment of a 12-part series, pays homage to the intricate beauty of these tiles. While each part can serve as a standalone design set for creating remarkable projects, the true magic unfolds when you collect them all. By assembling the diverse patterns, you have the opportunity to craft breathtaking layouts that are uniquely yours!
To join in on the fun you'll need a 5" and 10", or 6" and 12" hoop.
This set includes the following block sizes:
- 5x5"
- 6x6"
- 10x10"
- 12x12"
You'll be able to combine 5 and 10 inch blocks, the same goes for 6 and 12 inch blocks. 5 and 6 inch won't align, but could be used to make a separate border to add on.
~ Fabric requirements ~
Smaller Rugs Finished Size : 49x21 inch
Files used in this set as can be seen in the photos: Larger squares – 10inch (SDS4293_10x10_5) and Smaller Squares – 5inch (SDS4293_5x5_3)
For the rust border you will need : 1/8th of a yard (cut 1.5inch wide strip)
For the cream Fabric you will need : 3/8th of a yard (cut 3inch wide)
The rust fabric is 100% cotton linen and the cream fabric is cotton canvas fabric.
For your binding you will need : 1/3 yard (Cut 2.3/4) wide and folded double
For the back fabric and batting you will need 55x25 inch
BIG carpet - Finished size 84inch square
6 bath sheets OR 7.21 yards of towel fabric
Back fabric 90inch square or 7 3/8th yards
Iron on Batting 7 3/8 yards
Webbing 10 meters
