Description
Soft cream blocks full of feathers, hearts and stipple quilting, framed in gold and a rich festive poinsettia print. My Golden Delight table runner looks hand-quilted, but every block is stitched in your hoop. It is an in-the-hoop quilted runner that is perfect for your Christmas table.
Launch price $12.99 until Thursday 22 October 2026, then $18.
The runner is made from 12 quilted blocks: 4 Feather blocks and 8 Heart blocks, laid out 2 across and 6 down. Each block is quilted in the hoop with its own batting, so the centre is finished before you sew a single seam. Then you join the blocks on your sewing machine, add two borders and a backing, and finish with a gold flange binding.
Please note: the blocks are not meant to line up perfectly across the seams. The quilting is not one continuous pattern, so rotate the blocks and play with them, and focus on the texture: filled versus open areas create new patterns every time you turn them. Match the seams and corners, but don't try to match the stitching.
Fits hoops: 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8 and 9x9
